Today the 40th person listed my entry for the Sweeney Todd poster contest as one of their favorites. You know, I'm glad people like it - I really am. But I can't help wishing that more of the stuff I painted from scratch was equally popular. Thankfully my Hermit Crab in Skull is still my clear winner, with 172 people listing it as a favorite, but Sweeney's rapidly catching up to my #2 piece, the Yule Squid (48). I'm sort of tempted to paint something else that uses some popular piece of fandom as its subject matter just to see if that turns out to be equally popular. Probably not, though.
