Now, I absolutely loved this entry. The style reminded me slightly of 'Good Omens' ((which is a good thing!)). Imagining these three rival professors having tea in the middle of a dangerous jungle had me in a fit of laughter for so long that my eyes began to water. A few of my favorite sentences: In addition to the multitudes of carnivorous animals and carnivorous things that may or may not be animals, Utopia was also home to an astonishing variety of plant life, only a small percentage of which was carnivorous, poisonous, explosive, and/or ambulatory. and Professor Flint was a bit more restrained in his reaction, and merely gave Teiger a look that would have peeled paint. Of course, I loved the 'My God They Were Everywhere' bit too. Also, you have a very nice vocabulary, and I really liked your choice of names for your characters-- unique without be too strange.
This is such a clever use of the prompt, utterly delightful! And I'm ashamed to say that I didn't read all of the pieces last week-- but I'm off to read your week one, and then your week three.
