I brainstormed several terrible ideas for a knitting group, but the more I thought about them the more I realized that I wanted to project the illusion of normalcy for the rest of the group at the beginning, and a really awful name would set up the wrong expectations. So "Knitizens" won because it was a group I thought people would actually be willing to join. I'm glad you like it. = )
