Plum branches and cupcakes

kaiwoklaw and I took a Chinese brush painting class. It was nifty. I was surprised by the differences in the process between it and sumi-e - or at least sumi-e technique as I had read about it. Still, the results are quite similar. It was a very small class - just the two of us and one other person.
After that, we had some pizza and then baked some exceedingly colorful cupcakes forlucasthegray's post-birthday birthday gathering. We probably spent a lot longer on that than we should have, but it was fun nonetheless.
