Cafepress?

I was thinking I might stick some of my artwork on t-shirts on Cafepress. Before I do this, however, I thought I'd ask all of you if you've ever bought (or sold) any t-shirts from Cafepress and, if so, if they came out any good. Anyone hear anything good or bad about them?

My friend Sarah's husband used to (probably still does) sell Linux humor shirts through Cafepress. The quality was pretty good on the shirts that they had ordered for themselves.

Before you work with Cafe Press, read their use policy regarding "profits" and the like. If you don't sell a significant amount, they charge you to have the store open, etc...

I understand that if I don't meet the payment threshold during a pay period then they start syphoning money off to cover their own costs - are you referring to that, or some other charges? As long as I would never be in a position of owing them money beyond what I might possibly make from the store, then I don't have a problem with that part of the agreement.

I'm a little leery of the "We can donate your profits to charity!" bit, but it sounds like you can circumvent that by writing to them and asking them not to do it.

Ha. I re-read the charity part, and that's nothing to worry about as long as I give them accurate contact information.
