It's not just the ride home - it's a safari adventure!

Seriously, what the hell? Two deer ran across the road on my way home tonight. Not one after another, which is relatively common for deer-crossings, but two completely seperate incidents several miles apart on the road. I nearly ran over about a dozen birds once I hit Chelmsford, too. I've never seen so many birds on the road before, and they were all incredibly sluggish. I think I may have hit a baby duck or something on the highway, too. Either that, or a piece of road debris that looked incredibly like a baby duck. It all happened pretty fast. Of course, given the choice of hitting a baby duck or a full-grown deer, I'd pick the duck any day, particularly at 65 mph.

There was also a tree next to the highway that looked alarmingly rabbit-shaped, but that might just have been my over-tired brain at work looking for yet even more animals.

Maybe it's the happy little forest creatures trying to get you back for messing with a "Disney" story

Hmm, did the leaps of that rabbit seem...unnatural?
