Art - Mountain

I figured it was about time I practiced landscapes. For my own amusement (and somewhat practical reasons), I thought I'd do one piece corresponding to each of the land types in Magic: the Gathering. So here's my Mountain:

Generic rocky wasteland...Mars would certainly fit, though.

I think you need a little something to add perspective. That's why Bob Ross always has a little cottage or shed in his paintings. People know how big those things tend to be and so they can better appreciate the scale of the mountain or forest. For instance if you see a picture of some redwood trees without anything man made in the shot they just look like trees. :)
