The Wolves in the Walls

Looks like Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean have produced another disturbing children's book. Alas, it appears to $16.99 for a 56 page book. I love Neil Gaiman's writing and Dave McKean's art, but I just can't justify $17 for this thing. Looks like I'm waiting for A) Softcover, or B) Christmas.

There's an option "C".. and it's my personal favorite.

C. Request it at the library. (www.mvlc.org) Even if they don't have it, interlibrary loan within the consortium is free. (Even for books they only have 'on order'.)

That's how I got to listen to the Coraline book on CD. (Which is very, very creepy and has good music.)

To covet

I think he needs to own it though. He must be able to covet it regularly. ;)

For now, I've taken your suggestion, and the library should tie it to a brick and throw it through my window as soon as it's available. If it turns out to the most unspeakably wonderful book of all time, then maybe I'll worry about options A and B.
