So much for my ranting.

I've tried twice now to upload my ranting speech to Livejournal. I'm extremely grateful that I typed it up in Notepad and pasted it into the Livejournal form. If I'd lost all of that to a twitchy form, I'd have been deeply irritated. As it is, I'm merely irritated.

Shocking!

Something else that I noticed about the list of popular interests on Livejournal: "Writing" comes in at #3, with 114630 interested parties. Hardly surprising, I suppose. A forum used to publicly display written material has attracted people interested in writing. Boggles the mind. "Reading" and "Computers" in 4th and 5th place? Equally shocking.

What's this? Can it be that there may yet be hope for the world after all? "Love" ranks higher than "Sex?" Who would have guessed?
