Harry Potter and the Thingamajig of Entropy

Well, I finished the latest installment in the Harry Potter saga. I will refrain from making any comments, so as not to spoil it for others that might - EVERYONE DIES! Everyone! Hermione can't stand Malfoy's insults about being a mudblood anymore and goes crazy with Zzygrymbar's Atomic Instability Hex! Half the school is dead by page 102! Oh, it's wacky. Ahem.

Weirdness abounds. If you note the comments to my previous entry, you'll see that someone else interested in extinguishing the sun has contacted me, and that they live in the same town that I do. Clearly the two of us need to pool our resources, redouble our efforts, and quash the ridiculous ball of light once and for all. Mu ha ha ha HAH!

kiawoklaw is away for a week, so I shall be basking in despair and ennui for a while. Oh, the despair! Also, I hope to work on my art and stuff. Hopefully I'll spend more time on the art than the despair, of course.

Turns out that I wasn't paying attention, and the Folkmanis jellyfish puppet has been released! Mmm...jellyfish. The mammoth is cool too, but a bit pricy for me just now. Aw, they're retiring the alien in a spaceship. That's too bad. It's kinda cute.

Mirumoto Rosanjin saved!

...or at least I hope so. Tsuruchi Hiro was listed as saved before, but his status seems to have changed. An earlier tournament must have tainted him after all.

Rosanjin is one of the last personalities that I have a strong opinion about, so I was very pleased to see him appointed to the Imperial Court.

It would be nifty to see Mirumoto Zenko saved, but we don't really know anything about him, yet. Asako Yuya too, just for Asako Bairei's sake. Shiba Yoma? Already a Kolat, I gather, so not much to lose. As a Scorpion player I'm also concerned about the Scorpion personalities, but since one or more of them could be Shadowed Tower supporters, it's hard to know how much to care about any of them. Bayushi Tai seemed nifty enough, but I can't recall where his loyalties actually lie right now. And Soshi Tishi has awesome artwork, is featured on the shirt, and is actually sensei for Honor's Lesson Dojo, if I recall correctly. It would be a shame to see him tainted no matter which side of the Yojiro conflict he's on.

Looks like there's only 4 more Kotei tournaments to go, and they're all this weekend. I'd be happy enough if none of the people listed above were chosen at all - they don't have to make it to court, just avoid the taint. Of course, I wouldn't complain about them making it to court, either.
