Indeed, what the heck.

The Friday Five
From http://www.fridayfive.org/

1. Are you going to school this year?
Nope. At least, I don't think so. I still consider art school/classes from time to time.

2. If yes, where are you going (high school, college, etc.)? If no, when did you graduate?
1997 from WPI.

3. What are/were your favorite school subjects?
Graphic design, some of the writing classes.

4. What are/were your least favorite school subjects?
Math and science were big favorites in High School, but I became disillusioned with them in college. College also featured my foray into programming, which went badly when I ended up in the class taught by a brand new professor who was so terrible that she was fired after the one class. Having passed the class but not learned anything that she should have taught us, I found that my programming career was mortally sabotaged. I was consistently behind in future programming classes, until I finally gave up.

5. Have you ever had a favorite teacher? Why was he/she a favorite?
Mr. Carpenter in high school had great faith in my writing abilities, and always had an interesting quote on the board before every class. Also in high school, Mr. Pasquale taught Calculus, but began each class with something totally unrelated to math. He was also an excellent teacher. In college, Professor Trimbur was kind enough to become my advisor when I abandoned chemistry and embarked on the road to TSPC. He also helped set up a new class in visual literacy for me when I decided to take my studies in that direction. I can't think of any one person who did more to shape my education at WPI than Professor Trimbur.
