It did come out pretty cool. You know the optional hip assembly that comes in two pieces? Well the horse's neck also comes in two pieces with the same sort of slotted connection.
So I took the upper part of the hip that the torso usually attaches to and slotted it into the lower part of the horse neck that mounts directly to the horse body. the result is a slightly elongated articulated torso but the overall effect is the same. So far I've used the front skirt piece to cover his front because the joining pieces aren't exactly the same size.
It didn't turn out perfectly because the horse neck mounts on a male stud that comes out of the horse body. The human torso also has a male stud.
I hope the werewolf turns out good! I think a lizard man would work well using the dragon's lower legs. :D Too bad you can't mount the dragon wings on anything else... yet.
