Did I miss a Digger?

For those of you out there who read Digger, did I miss a comic between Murai getting lifted out of the crevasse and passing out (wombat552out.gif) and Grim Eyes and Shadowchild trying to set her broken arm (wombat554bacon.gif)? Was there a 553, or is the numbering sequence off?

I don't save them, so I can't speak to the image numbering, but that sounds like the right sequence to me. Assuming #552 includes Grim Eyes saying she plans to set Murai's arm while she's unconscious. I only check it Tuesday and Thursday, though, so I would have missed it if there were a bonus off-schedule strip.

You might be able to confirm by checking your modification dates on the files.

The first thing I did was check the dates on the files, but then I was wondering if I had been one behind for a while, and had saved one when it was so old it was about to be replaced in an hour or so or something.

It doesn't look like I'm missing a piece of the story or anything, and I doubt there was an extra update on Wednesday, so it's probably just a numbering goof.

Given that I don't always save them on tuesday and thursday (and so sometimes, if rarely, miss one, *gnar* (435,460,461,515)), it's not that easy to reconstruct, but given filedates and circumstances it indeed looks like she passed over 553 altogether.
