"Dear, he had glowing yellow eyes."
"That's a medical condition!"
"He kept asking about our souls."

"There are scorch marks on the table where he rested his elbows, and look at his chair!"
"You two are awful! You never like anyone I like!" She stormed off.
"...well, he was better than that last guy."
"True."
His chair had sprouted tentacles, and tended to hide under the table between meals.
