Something about the pose on Polis' seems off. I think the pockets might be what disrupt the form. It looks like the torso should be turned a little but the pockets say that it isn't.

I like John's sketch better than Polis'.

It's easier to criticize than create though. :) They're all very good.

I also prefer the sketch, and not just because I'm bitter and resentful towards the other picture. = )
