- Fair Folk riding Manta Ray Hosted on deviantART.

Another piece for Exalted. This is Pelirion, a Fair Folk noble who approached the ship while lounging in a chair poised on the back of a manta ray. Those wacky Fair Folk - they do like to travel in style.

Hey, how are you liking that DeviantArt subscription? Is it mainly an image hosting service?

It's nice because it's not restrictive on the variety of art - I can only put anthropomorphic art on VCL, for example...and then there are the other issues with VCL. Of course, the downside is that you can't link to only an image, and you're always stuck with the surrounding deviantART page.

I hadn't realized before I signed up that deviantART is also a sort of livejournal-like service, and users can keep a journal, get notices when other users upload new art, and so on. It seems nifty. Now, if I could just get the exposure there than comes automatically from VCL, things would be perfect. Most of the images I've put on deviantART have been viewed less than 10 times. The VCL ones have been seen at least 200 times each - and some of them are the same image hosted in both places. = (
