I'm trying to hold out hope, but things are looking mighty grim in the election news right now. On the bright side, I guess 224 years of democracy was a pretty good run. I'm going to miss the Constitution, though.

Wes, don't give up so easily! Already we (volunteer democrats) are working on how to get the democratic majority back in 2006. We very nearly pulled this gig off; we will not sit by and let the shrub do whatever he wants, not this time. The days of liberal pussies are long gone.
