I'm incredibly disappointed in Kerry. I can't believe that he's conceded already. He should be checking every possible mistake, uncounted vote, or suspicious circumstance in the entire election before giving up.

To give up now for the sake of a "unified nation" is ridiculous. It's obvious that we're not unified, and to suggest that everyone who voted for Kerry give up what they believe in and side with the Bush supporters is unforgivably insulting.

Did you listen to his concession speech? He said pretty much exactly the opposite. He wants his voters to keep working, not lose hope, and stick it to them next time.

Interesting...I didn't actually get to hear his speech, and the web news thing I read about it made it sound like he was conceding now so we could all come together and be one big happy country. Glad to hear that's not the case.

I haven't heard it yet either. C-span.com was overloaded when I tried to listen to it. I'm already bitter though, so I don't think it's going to help much. I just can't get over that he didn't say ANYTHING last night, not even, "hey let's wait this out" which could have been done in a non-whiny or threatening way.

Apparently the only votes that count are only the ones that can be counted before 9am the day after election day.

Nope, too late. If he said all the non-concession stuff last night, or early this morning, I would have felt better, but too little too late.
