Mmm...bamboo.

My mom asked me to paint her some bamboo so she could bring it to her holiday party thing this evening and enter into the raffle thingamajig, because she thinks it's nifty and interesting and thought other people might also find it nifty and interesting. I gather it was not wildly popular, but at least a couple of people were interested in it. Considering the fact that it wasn't framed, was done on so-so paper, and I'm still learning, that's not really so bad.
