Sad episode night?

Was it "Sad Episode Night" on Adult Swim or something? Fullmetal Alchemist lost a character and had one of the most effective funeral scenes I've seen in a long time. Then Ghost in the Shell kept on in the same vein. I'm going to miss those robots. = (

Yeah, his daughter freaking out didn't help my comfort levels. I don't think I ever saw a funeral scene so "real". Ugg, I been to a lot of them and would hate to be at a funeral like that.

And I love the tachikoma's.... 8(

Yeah, that was very believable dialog, and it made the whole thing even more tragic. Ed's right, he was a goof, but he was a really nice goof who was really watching out for them.

Those poor tachikoma tanks. At least they got to accomplish something, I suppose. When the shell misfired, I was afraid they were all going to "die" for nothing. At least they saved Batou.

I got home too late to see FMA, but I did catch the end of Ghost in the Shell. It was very sad when the tachikoma said "Goodbye Mr. Batou." :(
