Oh, I didn't realise it was a hub. I thought it just plugged into a USB port and lit up. =)
The spider was a tiny thing, just 4 mm long. I was actually taking a macro shot of a plant, and he was on the stem. I love jumping spiders; a lot of crawlies seem oblivious to your presence, but these guys actually watch you suspiciously (which is what this fellow was doing).
It certainly would be badly overpriced if it just lit up. For that price, it should be a functional USB hub, or at least actually be able to destroy your evil lab if the heroes thwart your evil scheme.
Hopefully your tiny friend is keeping the plant clear of tiny pests.
