Composite Fiction - Update!

Okay, after a bit of discussion in the previous entry, I've made some changes to how things will work. Also, I've made the community Open, so people can just add themselves right now. I plan to change that eventually.

Each journal entry will be one story. Each part after the first will be added as a comment on the first piece, so the story can be read in order from top to bottom by reading the "view comments" version. When a member wants to add to the story, they can post a comment that says so. This will keep two people from working on the same piece of the story. After they post the next part, the user can delete their old comment, so the entire page is just the story.

Since this means that the Comments section can't really be used for comments anymore, I thought each story could have a companion journal entry explicitly for comments about it.

I thought I'd wait to see if anyone was going to participate. So far, you cand cotter_salem are 'watching,' so I didn't think I had anyone officially signed on.

I'll try to put in something soon, and people can decide if they want to work from it or not.

Well I finally found the hidden "join this community" link at the top of the page. I can't post to it at work though... it's not exactly a creative environment.
