Mmm...evil.

I just realized that the CD I'm listening to (Front 242 - 06:21:03:11 Up Evil) is actually the first CD that I ever purchased. It's not actually the first CD that I've ever owned - that would be a single of Nine Inch Nails - Happiness in Slavery, which I won from the local college radio station before I even owned a CD player. Anyway, Front 242 hasn't been spinning in my CD player much lately, since my musical tastes have evolved a bit, but I still give them a listen once in a while. I heard that they actually got back together and put out a new album, but I checked out some clips on the web and it didn't really do much for me. Ah, well. This CD brings back strange memories. Some good, some not so good.

I spent the evening working on a character illustation for someone else - a first! It was nifty to be asked. Hopefully he'll be happy with the end result. After I reached a certain point, I paused and uploaded what I had so far so that I could collect feedback. No point in working on details if he doesn't like the overall composition and whatnot.

After that, I moved on to cleaning up the picture for one of the horrible things living in Gethamane in my Exalted campaign. Augh, that was painful. Dunno why - usually I enjoy this sort of thing. I think this one was just messier than I thought, and if felt like I was doing the whole thing over again.
