The End of the World

The news this evening mentioned that the world may end sooner than we thought. They sounded pretty cheerful about it, though there was a slight edge of concern to the newsperson's voice. Turns out a rather large asteriod might hit the Earth in 11 years and kill us all. There's only a one in a million chance of this happening, though, and they seem to feel that the odds might get less likely as scientists gather more information. Clearly, they aren't factoring my Asteroid Magnet into their calculations. In fact, if all goes according to plan, I hope to shave a year off the timetable.
