Ye Contest Voting Begins

Naturally, I don't want anyone to vote for mine unless you actually think it's a better design than the others. However, if you did like mine the best, you should consider voting, 'cause I'm getting trashed by one of the other designs right now. Heck, vote no matter which one you like. I'm not going to cry if I don't win, and I'm sure the final winner would appreciate getting as many votes of support as he/she can, whoever he/she turns out to be. I'll never know if none of you vote for mine, because the results are only accessable after you vote - I can't go peek again and see how I'm doing, so I'll never know if I only get the one vote.

It's currently divided into two seperate lists due to some screwy problem with the software, so make sure you vote for one from each list. Remember, it's not actually which drawing you think is the best drawing - it's which drawing best captures the description of the character.

We are not the masters of nature

It's been raining a lot lately. This is a neigboring street. That hole is a couple feet deep, and the pavement on the far side has shifted up a few inches. The water usually passes under the road about four feet below street level.

Hellboy

It didn't suck. I enjoyed it. I will say no more about the film, so that it is spoiled for no one.

I have a theory about the previews we had before the film, though. Someone involved in Hellboy clearly was able to pull strings or place some bribes. Clearly, we were shown the most abominable previews that could be found, to make us appreciate the movie that we were about to see that much more. There is no other explanation for them. One made me say "meh," one made me say "why?," one made me say "How does this match the demographic for Hellboy?," and the other two made me want to claw my eyes out and concuss myself on the seat next to me. Only the looming promise of Hellboy kept me from doing myself permanent harm.
