Aaaaargh!

Cartoon Network is rerunning Wolf's Rain on weekdays. This is not actually bad news...but I have already missed the first episode again, which is bad news. It's the only one I haven't seen. Damn. I wonder if they'll start at the beginning again when they reach the end, or if it will just cycle out of their lineup.

NaNoWriMo

I finally started my novel. Part of the delay was stress and then despair over the election. Other distractions have also inserted themselves in the path of my literary quest. Finally, though, I have actual bits of the story, and not just outline stuff.

I should probably have more outline stuff, but it was so hard to work on that in October without being able to write actual scenes that occured to me at the same time. I wonder if maybe I should have cheated just a little rather than lose the momentum that I had going for a few days.

Either way, I have a miserable 507 words so far, which is a mere 1% of the target 50,000 words. At least it's a start, though.
