I read Sluggy Freelance. It's been a little disappointing lately, (in particular, the current storyline is incredibly dull) but I still read it. Anyway, I loved the original Dimension of Pain strips, and enjoyed some of the reappearances of characters from the Dimension of Pain in the comic. I hate the "Meanwhile, in the Dimension of Pain" garbage that has appeared on Saturdays for the last two years. Many times I have loaded up the Sluggy page on Saturday looking forward to reading the day's strip only to be reminded that there isn't one, and that there is such utter crap in its place. I would rather there had been nothing on Saturdays than have the "Meanwhile..." strips.
So I am delighted that, apparently, there will be no more "Meanwhile..." strips. I don't know what Abrams is planning to put in their place, but I would be happier with just about anything. It wasn't just that the "Meanwhile" strips were awful - it was worse because I was such a fan of the original Dimension of Pain strips, and the "Meanwhile" strips seemed to lessen them in some way.
