Day 1 of the Brace

I hate it. I hope it's doing some good, because it's annoying, uncomfortable, and I swear it's making other parts of my hand hurt. Still, it's an improvement over the bandage - that thing was driving me crazy.

Oh, well.

Neither of my submissions to the SFS t-shirt design contest were selected as winners. The winning entry is the one at the bottom - Ninja School Dropout. It's too bad, but I'm not exactly heartbroken. Since we were supposed to work only in black and white (and maybe 1 shade of gray) it wasn't exactly the place for my usual style. I went for diffuse grainy (for "Don't blame me, I voted for Cthulhu"), and line art (for the Monkey Ninja Pirate). They matched up my art for that one with someone else's text for the movie poster. I liked the end result for that one, though I would have picked something else for the front.
