Art - "Paradise" for VCL competition

Forgot to mention this back when I actually drew it. After the Dread Month of Nothing Due to Illness, I was trying to work gradually back into art with something that didn't have a lot of importance attached to it, so I threw together something for the VCL monthy competition. The topic was "Paradise." I thought the list of existing entries needed something a little different to spice things up, so I made this spikey little flamey critter sitting on a rock in a pool of lava...the critter's idea of paradise, not mine. I wish I'd had a bit more time to work on the actual critter, but there wasn't a lot of time left before the month ended and I really wanted to move on to other more important things - like the 'aliens' for my upcoming D&D campaign or the long-awaited Fungi from Yuggoth picture. Anyway, I guess it has a sort of stylized charm, and I like how the lava turned out.
