Another Successful Pangolin Day
Dec. 9th, 2005 02:39 amThings seemed to go reasonably well. In honor of Pangolin Day, the GM for the evening's D&D game attacked us with a Dire Pangolin. Thankfully, I wasn't call upon to help fight the thing (I was too busy fighting other adversaries), since I doubt I could bring myself to raise a hand against a pangolin. I brought fudge and penuche, which were both well received - mom and I made the first batches of both on Wednesday night so I'd have some to bring with me. It's nice to bring it somewhere that people appreciate it. = )
While discussing pangolin carols, my mom joked that I should adapt "Silent Night" next, which she knows that I won't do because I hate it. I like my festive holiday music to be...you know, festive. "Silent Night" has a sort of dirge-like quality that both grates on my nerves and makes me feel like the song is about 20 minutes long. Bleh.
