I'm sure that I missed many awesome things because I didn't make it Gen Con this year. I was extra sad when I learned that one of the things that I missed was a giant display featuring some previews of the next Monsterpocalypse set.
I have sort of mixed feelings about Krakenoctus, but I will cast aside all of my reservations if it means I get to field him with a support force of giant crabs. I should also mention that in this setup he's partly submerged, but his actual figure will include his feet and whatnot. I can only assume the fish-monster is the other monster from the Triton faction in the new base set. I'm still not giving up that a later set from the block will give us a shark monster.
