On Tuesday, I went to the doctor so I could get a renewal of that prescription that keeps my hands from skeletonizing. That's important stuff. Anyway, while I was there, they asked me if I wanted a flu shot. I asked them to give me the pros and cons. Pretty much the only con was that my arm would be sore for a couple of days, so I figured I probably ought to get it.
It really wasn't too bad. Actually, the spot where I'd been pierced so they could steal some of my blood for their alleged "tests" hurt more. At first, anyway.
As the day wore on, my arm began to hurt more and more, until finally, about 16 hours after the injection, it really freaking hurt, and then it tore itself free from my body and animated itself as a freakish monster that pulled itself across the floor with my fingers, hunting for blood or souls or something. That was not one of the side effects they had warned me about.
I managed to stun it long enough to reattach it, and now it seems to be fine. But holy crap that hurt like crazy.
