I always have a spare moment for you, and I love you're using this particular piece for the business card. It's pretty much the best thing ever. (Okay, maybe everything you draw is tied for "best thing ever" but who's counting.)
Actually, they way they're listed is the order in which I like them - top best. The third is too busy, and the centering in the second one makes me feel like you should have something on the right side of the card, some sort of vertical text. (Of course, if you added something there, it'd probably just look "too busy" again.) There's my (uneducated but still requested) two cents; hope it helps!
Haven't seen you around in quite a while. How are you?
The top one is the first version I put together, but I worried that there was too much empty black on the left. The other two are attempted solutions to that. But so far everyone seems to like the top one the best, so I'll go with that after all.
As to where I've been...I was supposed to be arting like a madman to get ready for a convention last month and another a week from now, so I knew I wouldn't have time for last month's or this month's writing prompts. As it turns out, I was sick for parts of last month and then seriously demotivated, missed the first con, and only have one new piece for next week (though I'm scrambling to finish another). Also, it turns out that the people I was going to get some more prints from went out of business. I found someone else, but it's going to be more expensive. So things have been...less than ideal.
Still, once it's all behind me I'm hoping to get back to my regular routine and poke at writing again. Hopefully April's first topic is something that grabs me. = )
I'm with Jacques on that - the crab has somewhere to go. If he were facing the other direction, it might be a different story.
Rest assured, I'll be lurking, waiting for your writing to appear, then I pounce! (obviously I have spent too much of my morning reading children's books. don't mind me.) Best of luck with your new printer et al, and yay for not being sick anymore! :D
