At last, I have finished the first accursed piece of art for the 7th Sea fan set. It's not really accursed, actually. It just took a horrifying amount of time to complete, due to many distractions and occasional artist's block. Viewable as a 111K JPG, 800 x 560 pixels, via this link straight to the image on my website. Fid's original version in the CCG had one spooky blue-white eye, and his card featured the flavor text "The knife he carries once took out his eye. It grew back, different than it was before. Late at night, he wonders what would happen if he put the other eye out with it." The text for the experienced version indicates that the other eye has joined the first, and the flavor text reads "Oh gods…now I can see everything."

Awesome!

That rocks! I really like the texture of the hair and the "glowyness" of the eyes.

Thanks! I tried a couple of different things for both the eyes and the hair, and those were definitely the two that I liked the best.

Nice stuff!

Too bad it will lose some of the hand detail when it's shrunken down!

It's really cool though. I like the hair detail and the eyes.

It's weird doing CCG art. You know that some detail will be lost, or at least hard to see, when the picture is reduced in size. Still, I wanted the picture to have detail and look reasonably good at full size, too. Thanks for the comments, by the way. Always nice to get feedback...not getting much from the people actually working on the set, unfortunately. = (
