Behold, my will of iron.

Well, maybe not iron. Perhaps psuedo-metallic iron-like substance. Still, I managed to resist the alure of cool stuff that I don't need. TE had their holiday sale this week, and could have gotten myself a Hellboy t-shirt for $12, or one of the cool Zim t-shirts that I don't have (yeah, there are some that I don't have) for $14. But, on sale or not, I just couldn't justify it. Then I managed to resist purchasing the latest L5R book at Borders. I would like to read it, and I don't mind giving money to AEG, but I had mixed feelings about the other "Wind of" novel by Ree Soesbee. I'd rather not spend $7 for a rather thin paperback of which I'm not expecting great things. Newbury Comics had temptations too, but nothing as attractive as the other two establishments.

Your will of iron? Dude, that's nothing; there isn't a force in the universe that can break my will of chromium-molybdenum steel! For someone who is also tempted to purchase things, this is an invaluable asset!
