Ironically, the choice not to go this year was sort of taken out of my hands - after being awake for over 24 hours, I was pretty much a zombie by the time dinner was over and I just went straight to bed.
The weather has been a little weird. I thought the rain was going to wash away what snow we had, but there's still a little left where it was deepest from shoveling. At least it's not a completely snow-free Christmas.
