I'm an idiot with no willpower?

I can't decide whether or not I'm an idiot with no willpower, to be honest. I've been trying to save money, and not buy stupid, frivolous things that I don't need. But, as mentioned in a previous entry, I keep having to spend money anyway, so it feels futile. So, I reconsidered on something stupid and frivolous that I don't need, and decided to buy it. Which is stupid. However, unlike other impulse purchases I've resisted, I've been regretting not buying this thing. Now, perhaps, I won't have it looming over me. On the other hand, perhaps it will arrive in the mail, it won't meet my hopes and expectations, and I'll kick myself for my stupidity. I guess we'll see.
