hwangoAs I mentioned in this entry, on September 15th I put myself on the waiting list at the library for a copy of Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, and discovered that I was #64 on the list. It appears that it's taken 35 days for 63 people to read the 20 or so copies in the library consortium - the library called today to say that my book is in.
Just in time - I was thinking recently that I was still waiting for the book, and that it would suck if my turn to read it came up in November when I was trying to write my own book for NaNoWriMo. I somehow doubt that I'd have time for it with a novel of my own preying on my time.
