Car Hunt - Closing In?

A nearby Saturn dealership has a 2001 Altima I could get for about $8000. That's perilously close to the upper limit of what I'd like to spend, but it's a more recent model than a lot of other cars I've been looking at, so that's not unreasonable, I don't think. It was definitely my favorite out of the things I test drove today. If nothing else, today's expedition wipes Civic off the list of possibilities, I think. I hit my knees on the steering column even with the seat pushed back the correct distance. It was very claustrophobic in there.

Sorry to hear about the Civic. I had the same experience in the Chevy Aveo. At least the Altima may not get stolen as quickly. The Altima I rode in had plenty of power and it was roomy enough.

I actually liked the Hyundai Sonata more but as I mentioned in a post the high speed handling made me nervous.

"stolen as quickly" somehow doesn't set my mind at ease. = P
