NaNoWriMoMo Mo! Mo! Moooo!
Nov. 11th, 2004 04:41 am5248, and now it's time for magical sleepy time where my brain recovers. La la la.
I stopped trying to work from the beginning, and skipped ahead to other bits that I know I want to include later: A discussion about the reasons for the war, Orremar's research, an assassination attempt, and even part of what I envision as the end.
I'm not sure I could do this again - there aren't many other scenes that I've already planned for. It would be nice, though, if I could periodically crank out a few thousand words that I know I want to include eventually, and then skillfully link them together with other bits some time later. In order to be caught up to where I should be, I would need to have about 17000 words right now. Meh.
