I have my new spectacles. For how much they cost, I'm left with the feeling that they should let me see through walls or shoot laser beams, but they are an improvement over my old ones. It's pesky to still need glasses, but if there's one thing that I've learned from watching Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, it's that I don't want cybernetic eyes.
