Exploding Doors and Episode III
May. 19th, 2005 05:15 pmMy eyeballs burn with sleepyness. I've slept very poorly the last few days, and today got woken up by the sound of our garage door destroying itself. I stumbled down the stairs to get some aspirin, because I felt like crap and my head hurt, and got roped in to helping figure out how to keep the door from falling apart any further and breaking any more glass. Wheeee.
After that saga was over I had to lug around the stepladder and help my mom put some stuff from the garage into the attic so it won't be in danger of being thrown away when dad fixes the door. Then I finally got to crawl back into bed, where I rested but was unable to sleep.
I had originally hoped to leave the house well before noon to be sure I could catch a showing of Revenge of the Sith before school let out and the theaters got crowded. As it is, I didn't make it out until 1:20. Still, I managed to catch the 1:40 showing, which wasn't at all crowded, I didn't even miss any of the previews - I was taking my seat just as the "Don't Talk/Smoke/etc." thing was ending. That was nice. Then it's back home to wonder whether I should try to get some sleep, or just stay up being tired so I can hopefully sleep during normal sleep hours.
( Revenge of the Sith, not really spoilers, but just in case )
