My interface! Nooo!

As you can see, Livejournal has a new interface, or "skin" as they call it. I find it to be sucky. It has drop down menus obscuring many frequently-used links. I hate pointless, unneeded drop down menus, or "Stealth Menus," as I call them. I much prefer having the whole menu of options visible at all times, over on the left. I don't find them intrusive or ugly, and I feel that nothing is gained by hiding them with a pretty navigation system.

Thankfully, I'm not stuck with the new design - though in my rage I almost didn't notice this fact. I'll be sticking with the good old functional interface, which they apparently call "Dystopia." Bring on the Dystopia, I say.

Yeah, I thought it was annoying too. I decided to give it a try anyway and got really annoyed within 30 seconds of using it, so I switched back. I never knew about the text only option, I may have to try that one too.
