I am now the proud owner of a technologically obsolete digital camera. At the venerable age of 5 years, it would likely be scorned and mocked by any camera currently on the market. However, it has 2 very redeeming qualities: A) It was really cheap, and B) It's the only digital camera that I own. I've wanted a digital camera for ages, so I could do weird experimental things with Photoshop, take reference pictures for illustrations, and keep a record of how fast some of my plants are growing over time. This camera will do all of those things, all for a tiny fraction of what it cost me to get my car back from the mechanic last week. What more could I ask for?

I hope you find that you use it. I know I wish I used mine more. I took it with me to the Big E and got some random crowd and animal pictures.

Strangely when I had the flash on one sheep's eyes appeared to be glowing blue!

My next picture taking goal is fall foliage. I'd like to go up to Vermont and get some shots of the hills covered in dying leaves. ;)

Walden Pond also looks nice in Fall, and is very conveniently located.
