"Indeed I am."

"But why?"

"I confess, I lost my temper. You will recall that he goaded me into that first challenge through mockery? Well, his proficiency with insults remains undiminished."

"Pardon my saying so, but surely you cannot expect to win this time? It seems exceedingly unlikely that he will repeat his mistake from your first contest.”

"Unlikely indeed. However, I remain confident he will not reach the finish before me."

"And why is that?"

"Oh, I just may have discussed the route for the race within earshot of the Wolf," said the Tortoise.

Thanks - I'm having a little trouble getting back into the swing of things...I barely made (barely missed?) the deadline for this one, and really rushed week 2 as well. I miss the days when I wrote something on Wednesday night. = P
