Snow Sculpting

I have made a new friend. The snow from this weekend was too powdery to work with at first, but with the warmer weather on Tuesday it became much more cooperative.

It might be too subtle for viewers to notice, but I built this entirely from behind so that the bear appears to be sitting on top of the snow, with no footprints or trampled snow in front of it.

Well if you think that was an unusual thing to make out of snow, you should see the snow octopus (http://hwango.livejournal.com/264214.html) I made last year. = )
