The victory party was many hours old, but showed no signs of slowing. In fact, the celebratory atmosphere was so powerful that when one of the nightmares called for silence to give a speech it was not immediately torn to pieces for its presumption.

"Fellow ghouls, nightmares, and bogeymen - victory is ours!"

Cheers and laughter.

"We have chased our hated enemy far beyond the horizon. The world is ours forever! None would dare challenge us!"

More cheers. But then, murmurs of confusion.

"Wait, what's that light? Behind us, in the East!"

Confusion transformed into panic.

"No! It can't be!"
