The past unearthed. The evil revealed.
Feb. 11th, 2004 03:46 amIn the course of my cleaning rampage I have unearthed all kinds of strange and half-forgotten things. Among them, I found a copy of my "alternate" senior picture from high school. If I remember correctly, they mentioned that you could come with a change of clothes and get a few shots of yourself in some other outfit. I still can't believe that I did this. I was, of course, forbidden by my parents to use this as my actual picture in the yearbook, but I did get a bunch of wallet-size copies to hand out to friends. The picture was met with equal parts disbelief and enthusiasm.

I remember being nervous and thinking that they'd simply refuse to take the pictures, or that they'd be freaked out. As it turned out, the photographer found it highly entertaining and great fun to shoot.

Date: 2004-02-11 04:13 pm (UTC)I remember my yearbook picture rather vividly - I had my makeup and hair professionally done at a Glamour Shots franchise. The pictures were the best I'd ever had taken. It amused me to no end that several people asked if it was really me in the photo - and the level of disbelief that photo was met with. (What jerks some of those kids at CHS were.) *sigh*

I never had a senior picture taken, nor a yearbook.
