Best part of Star Wars Monopoly: Getting the monopoly of the yellow properties that make up the Death Star and getting to say "Now, witness the power of this fully operational battle station!"

I hadn't played for years, and some friends decided that they missed the game and would like to play again. It was more fun than I remember it being, though it's still not one of my favorite games of all time. I wouldn't mind playing some more, though.

Yeah, I got a kick out of that, as well.

I think that the "Death Star" properties were the coolest in the game. There were definitely some locations on the board that were grasping at straws for connection to the Star Wars Universe. :)

Yeah, there were some stretches. Trying to get 3 significant locations out of Endor, for example. I liked the Death Star and Hoth the best for connections to the films.

I was glad to see the animations though. I loved Billy's Balloon and the intermission the most. :)

We probably could have. I know I was surprised by how quickly the game ended. Of course, I also thought we were going to watch the Bitter Films animations and then go play Settlers, or something. Didn't expect to watch as much animation and then talk about World of Darkness 2.0. Not that there was anything wrong with that, it just wasn't what I was expecting.

I'm hoping to pick up Lord of the Rings Monopoly after my birthday has passed. I'm told that it adds some interesting new rules and can be quicker than the normal game...
