Remember a few entries ago when I said that I placed 3rd in the SFS Writing Contest? Well, I waited a few days and didn't hear anything from them, which I thought was odd. I mean, I wasn't there when it was announced, so I thought they might let me know in some other way in case I didn't find out on my own. So I wrote a polite email to the person running the contest to say that I heard that I placed 3rd, that I was very happy, and what should I do now? Another two days go by. So I wrote to the president of the SFS with a similar email. Nothing from him either. I really don't want to be a jerk about this, but I admit that I'm disappointed. It's not looking good for me getting my prize. = (

Unfortunately, I won't be headed out to Worcester next Wednesday like usual, so I'd have to make a special trip for it. = (

Maybe not 'pester,' but if you could find out what I should do that might be helpful. I'm going to try one more email since I would be able to stop by their board game night thing at the Wedge on my way to Sarah's tonight, but in case that doesn't work it couldn't hurt to have you ask. Thanks.

Still no answer back from anyone, and what with the brakes on ye car failing and screwing up my weekend, I couldn't stop by gaming on Friday to ask in person. So, yeah, ask this person what, if anything, I should do, or if it's just a lost cause.
